Another lovely weekend.

The weekend began with me winning £10 at poker, always a good start although now I have to buy pizza next time. Ah well ;o)

Saturday was packed, bought FIMO and made a little dragon for Maisie's b'day, he had a chef's hat and a frying pan. Quite pleased with him.

In search of compost and bedding plants, we then went to the garden centre, discovered it entirely free of plants so went instead to a local grocers and flower shop. Not only did we get 20% off, we got a free flower. See if I bother with the garden centre again.

Then the very fine Maybabies party, possibly the one I have enjoyed the most. Relaxed, everyone seemingly happy and delighted with each other and the company. The theme, "Carnival of the Bizarre", was simple enough that everyone could manage something. I was a big fan of the knife thrower. We were the white tigers who ate Siegfried and Roy, complete with severed hand.

Sunday consisted of a bit more gardening and relaxation.

As I assume many of you know, Whirly have lost their venue as of this month. They are searching out others - fingers crossed for them. But we face the probability that Saturday 5th June will be the last Whirly for some time.

This said - do We Have A Plan?

Well, no actually we don't, so let's think of one.

Anyone else going? I'm quite up for having people back to ours afterwards if we want to pool on cab fairs, or equally happy to go to other people's, or we could just meet there and then disperse...but somehow it feels like we should have a plan.

We are going for the Non Work Safe Amble beforehand, so perhaps could meet up with anyone on that...
