Apr. 20th, 2004 09:35 amUtterly lousy weekend, TL pranged the car (thankfully he's not hurt) and the phone stopped working so we couldn't call anyone to let them know that the car was broken down so we couldn't make it...bleh...
The week, however, is picking up a bit. Car repairs should not be too expensive and the phone is working again. Work is not bad, with one student who actually came onto campus to thank me for helping her out. Bless.
Aside from that, well, not much. The weekend problems mean that wedding/garden/kite flying plans all went out of the window. Beginning to feel like a hermit, but if we want to have the summer we're planning on, well, just have to economise. I'll plait bones into my beard.
